THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!
This stage from Cossonay is high up in some parts and follows the Venoge river in others.
Even in the High Middle Ages, the town of Cossonay was owned by an important noble family
and was even granted a city charter in 1264, and there are well-preserved town houses and patrician houses from the 17th to 19th centuries.
We took the train back to Penthalez, and then the funicular up to Cossonay, which we explored for a while before going back down
by the funicular to start walking where we left off the last time.
From Cossonay Penthalaz, after a short section on the road, the path disappeared into woods on the edge of a car park,
and we continued through the hilly landscape, forest and pasture, before walking cross-country to Vufflens-la-Ville,
where we found a carved tree to sit in and have lunch From there, it was cross country and then through a forest
with a Vita Parcours to Bussigny, where after looking inside a modern catholic church and
outside the closed protestant church, we took the train home.
