Bussigny
to
St.Sulpice

We took the train back to Bussigny, where we left off last time, collected supplies from the local Migros and set off through some industry and housing down to the wooded river bank of the Venoge.. There were a few parts of the path by the side of the road, and a part of the river bank that had recently been devestated by storms, but in general this was a pleasant stroll down to the lakeside.

Unfortunately the walk along the edge of the lake was often between high hedges, but we came quite soon to St. Sulpice with its Roman church and priory. bought lunch from a local grocers, and sat by the lake eating our picnic until the paddle steamer arrived to take us to Ouchy.
