We set off across the hillside, bridging streams, until we got to an aqueduct running the length
of the hillside towards Naters, and then followed a disused railway into the town.
There we visited a chapel piled high with skulls ("Beinhaus" or "Charnel house"), with the
epitaph "What you are, once were we; what we are you will be". From there it was a simple matter
of crossing the river to Brig railway station, to finish this section of the Jakobsweg.
