We set off past warning signs into the woods and past storm-debris filled gorges. After being
provided with apples for sustenance from a man working in his garden, we went past a place of execution
on the edge of the woods, where wrong-doers were hung in view of the village below.
From there, on into the woods and wild water again, pausing to look at statues of
St. George killing a dragon and Saint James as a pilgrim.
