We started off with bacon and eggs in the kitchen we had to ourselves to celebrate Sue's 70th birthday,
and after a look around the town with its quaint town hall, we set off under blue skies through the woods.
We stopped off for lunch at a renovated chapel with an interesting mural, and set off through open countryside
before returning to woods and streams, with more of the eery mossy covered trees that we had seen earlier on our way.
It was a long day, and we took advantage of a thoughtfully provided shelter for afternoon snack.
We finally arrived fairly late at the hostel, to find that most of the beds were taken, and there were only
two top bunk beds left for us! The other pilgrims were quite fun, and Sue was presented with a lighted candle
in a cup cake to celebrate her birthday!
