We set off early as we had a long day, and although we were back on one of the official "Ways",
we didn't meet up with any other pilgrims. We had a lot of roads until we got to L'hopital d'Orion,
the site of an ancient pilgrim hospital, complete with pilgrim statue and an open church.
We found our way cross-country through fields and woods to the riding-school where we planned to stay in the hostel.
The owner, however, kindly put us in a Gîte because the hostel house was not heated and nights were cold.
We made a meal out of our reserve tins of tuna, sweetcorn and pasta as we hadn't come across any shops on the way,
and finished the evening sitting outside watching the sun set and sipping some local beer, made there by the owner's son.
