Goikoeleizalde-Lezama-(Bilboa)

We set off to the bus stop in Bilbao in the pouring rain, and took the bus back to Goikoeleizalde where we had left off. The rain eased, and we found a cafe in Larrabetzu for breakfast coffee along with other pilgrims, and then set off. The way soon evolved into a trek along main roads through suburbs,although we did manage to get a stamp from a local library in Lezama. We had the intention of walking all the way back to Bilbao, but the rain got heavier, and the way over the hill was marked as dangerous, so we abandoned the attempt and took the train back from Lezama to Bilbao. The rain then eased off, so we walked around Bilbao to do some sightseeing, and even had an ice cream whilst admiring the Guggenheim museum from the outside.
