The forecast was for continued heavy rain, so we decided to fo some sightseeing and museums.
The photos start with our favourite railway station, Zazpikaleak, which means "Old Town",
confusing if you expect Bilbao station to be called Bilbao.
Then follow a few photos taken on other days between rain showers, including the nearby Abando railway station,
as well of the outside of the Guggenheim museum, with its *Stranger Things" spider-like sculpture.
From there, we progress to the cathedral of Santiago, and then mast the Ribera Market and the church of
Saint Anthony next to the Museum of sacred Art, at The church of the Incarnation, which was closed at this point.
From there we decided to give the inside of the Guggenheim a miss, and went on to the Museum of Fine Arts.
The exhibitions there were an interesting mixture of old and modern, with an inflatable exhibit spanning an entire wing,
amongst other strange artwork. From there, back to the to the Museum of Relgious Art, which was now open, to admire
the various epochs of religious art on display, some of which had been taken from the closed churches we had passed on our way.
