Breakfast was very pleasant and we left early as the couple were to open their restaurant that day
and still had lots to do.It was a pleasant temperature as we climbed out of the little town.
The walk was lovely. There were views down the valley. Vineyards appeared from time to time in terraces
and we wandered through small villages. We stopped to snack and Peter (from two days ago) strode pass;
it was the last we saw of him but he always comes to mind, even later, when we see a dog as he was very
afraid of dogs and carried a spray just in case.) We met up later with Dijana who walked a while with
us to Yenne. We climbed up to the chapel of St.Romain which has been rebuilt having been destroyed
in the Revolution. The way down was steep after which we walked along the river. Entering into Yenne,
we were disappointed at the grey uninteresting small town. We then had to wait until 17.00 to go to our
lodgings but the Acceuil Jaquaire was very nice. We had a very nice meal and the room was more than
adequate - there was room for several people but being alone was fine by us.
